My question for this class is: “Do you think the disadvantages of the new media will cause trouble for the world?” What I mean is, the internet has done things like help revolutions around the world that may not have been possible otherwise. Good or bad, it has changed the world forever. I feel like the number of bad things that could happen because of it would equal the number of good things, but because the effects are world wide, they are more prone to more drastic consequences. For all we know, one file could be leaked that starts a nuclear war, because people are always trying to hack and get into places they shouldn’t. For every person out there that is trying to increase security, there is a person out there that is just as good at decreasing or bypassing that security.
